History

 

1970:     Arrival of Sr. Benedict Butler, Sr. Carmel Gill, Sr. Agnes Minchin, Sr. Concepta.

 

              Galway, Sr. Kevin Daley in Shuwa, Madagali LGA Adamawa State. Maiduguri

 

               Diocese, from Park House. Waterloo, Liverpool, England. At the request of

 

               Bishop Timothy Cotter OSA

 

1984:      On the 21st of November a Novitiate to train indigenous Sisters was opened in Shuwa.

 

2007:    Three Sisters went to Jalingo on Mission in January.

 

2009:     Offered Autonomy at the General Chapter in September.

 

2011       A place in Mubi, A Girls Secondary School opened on the 3rd of October

 

2010:      Official erection took place January 2010

 

2014:      Displaced from Shuwa by Boko Haram February 26. Returned in March 18, 2014.

 

                Displaced again in September 2014

 

2014:      Movement from Shuwa to Idah, Idah Diocese, Kogi State March 6 at the offer of

 

                Charity from Bishop Anthony Adaji MSP
