Le temps de Noël est terminé et nous sommes entrés dans ce que nous appelons « le temps ordinaire ». Pourtant j’aime cette hymne que nous chantons le matin :
Voici quelques crèches et décorations qui ont fleuri en communauté et aussi à la Maison de Retraite où le personnel a le souci de permettre aux résidents de vivre ce moment de fête dans un environnement qui puisse les rejoindre.
Avec leurs vœux, des amis m’ont envoyé l’arbre de Bonne Année ; en voyant actuellement les arbres dégarnis et comme morts, je les imagine reprendre vie ; dans un contexte plutôt morose et incertain, c’est une invitation à regarder autour de nous la nature qui va à nouveau se parer de tant de couleurs, à regarder comment chaque espèce se renouvelle et comment chaque année, nous nous en émerveillons à nouveau ; dans la Foi, j’y vois le signe de ce Dieu Créateur qui nous associe à son œuvre de création, ce Dieu venu vivre parmi nous ainsi que nous venons de le fêter à Noël.

With their greetings, friends sent me the Happy New Year tree. seeing the trees and as if dead, I can imagine them coming back to life. uncertain times, it's an invitation to look around us and
see nature, which will once again be decked out in so many colours, to see how each species renews itself and how each year we marvel at it anew. faith, I see it as a sign of God the Creator, who
involves us in his work of creation, this God who has come to live among us, as we have just celebrated at Christmas. .
